You wouldn't ask an Amish for advice on Computers, so what makes a priest fit to advise people on Marriage?

I go to a male OB/GYN. He doesn't have a vagina nor has he given birth, but he is a damn good doctor. You wouldn't ask an Amish for advice on Computers, so what makes a priest fit to advise people on Marriage?
You wouldn't ask an Amish because they have no experience or training with computers. Priests, however, have spent time in school getting a good education so as to be able to advise people on marriage.

Most marriage counselors are single or divorced in the first place, yet people only seem to have a problem with the priests...You wouldn't ask an Amish for advice on Computers, so what makes a priest fit to advise people on Marriage?
Because even though he hasn't any personal experience (in some religions) he DOES have training, education, and has done successful counseling in the past.

You know. Kind of like when NASA guy sitting at a computer is telling the astronaut guy what to do on a space walk.
Some priests have good common sense and understand the dynamics of sharing your life with someone else. You don't always need personal experience to be wise.
Amish don't use electronics.
A priest's training includes family counseling.
so you wont ask someone who has power to join 2 people together?
touch茅.
